Encounter with the Armor Bearer
Recently I awoke to see an angel standing beside my bed. He was probably between six and seven feet tall and had a very unusual and ornate design on his breastplate. I lay there studying the design and watching him to see what would happen, when suddenly he began to speak.
"I am your armor bearer," he said.
I asked him, "Why do I need an armor bearer? Wouldn't it be better if I just kept my own armor and sword with me?"
He responded, "Do you know what an armor bearer is?"
From his question to me, I surmised that I probably did not. But I responded, "Yes, I think so..."
The angel said, "I know the battle is coming before you do. I am charged to make sure that you are wearing your armor and that your sword is in your hand when it needs to be. I will guide you and provoke you to always be ready in that moment."
I have read many times that the Lord has given His angels charge over us, but experiencing encounters like this shows the reality of it at another level.
"For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. " (Psalm 91:11 KJV)
Increase is Coming at New Levels for the Entire Body
The thing that really got my attention was when he told me that I would be seeing him a lot in the coming days. What does "a lot" mean? I don't know for sure, but if the Lord is giving increase in the angelic to my life, I receive it!
At the time I thought this was a personal revelation to me, but within two days I had words of confirmation from two different people that: God is releasing the angelic to all of us in unprecedented ways to work alongside us. I was told that they will even be revealing their presence to us, so that things are very clear to us in the coming days. One of my friends even used the term "armor bearer" as he delivered this confirming message to me. The other confirming voice said that he saw hundreds of angels going out across the earth to prepare the way for us and to bring in the provision of the Lord.
What Shall We Do?
One thing I was told by one of the Lord's ministering angels is that: if we are doing the will of the Father, we are already working with angels. Now is the time more than ever to pray, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done!" Hearken to the voice of the Lord and obey His instruction. Every day ask for new revelation from the Lord and honor even the smallest things He gives you. Jesus Himself said, "I only do those things I see the Father do."
"Then answered Jesus and said unto them, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.'" (John 5:19 KJV)
Wait on the Lord
Spend time listening for and to His voice. Set aside a special time when you are not asking or petitioning or speaking in any way, but rather waiting on His voice, His instruction and His response to us. This has become one of my favorite things to do. It's in these times that the things of Heaven can begin to manifest to us and around us (on Earth as it is in Heaven). In my times of waiting on the Lord, I have had visions open before me and angels deliver messages from the Lord. Wait on the Lord.
And Finally...Thank Him!
The atmosphere of praise and worship causes Heaven to surround you. The Lord inhabits the praises of His people. It's in those moments of thanking the Lord for the miracle that we see the blocking and hindering things moved out of the way and the hand of the Lord deliver our need. The Bible tells us, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God" (Philippians 4:6 KJV).
