Publishing assistance
The SAIMM would like to assist its members and academia who may be considering publishing a book or have chapters that they would like to incorporate into a text book for use at a tertiary education level. The facilities that we are offering include the following: Providing bridging finance Reviewing of the manuscript Proofreading of the manuscript before typesetting Assisting with marketing Cost estimation for the project If you have a manuscript for consideration, please e-mail it to: David Tudor, David@saimm.co.za or Sam Moolla, Sam@saimm.co.za. ECSA Annual Fees
SAIMM members who are registered with ECSA continue to benefit from discounted fees. The approved discount for 2016-2017 is R1110 for professional engineers, and R380 for candidate engineers.
Voting for the election of Fourteen Members for Council
Voting for fourteen members to serve on the SAIMM Council is still underway, and to date 27% of the total number of Corporate members have voted. Your vote is important as Council makes strategic sessions on the way the SAIMM functions, and the way forward. Please remember to vote before the 18th July. Weekly reminders are sent to those Corporate members who have not voted.
