Counseling@Northwestern is a comprehensive, rigorous, CACREP-accredited program that prepares students at any level of experience to graduate as confident, powerful mental health counselors. Students will:

  • Learn from our faculty who are experts in their fields and active clinicians,
  • Complete more than 900 hours of fieldwork in their communities, allowing them to put theories into practice and gain confidence, and
  • Develop a strong counselor identity through clinical training and in-person immersion experiences designed to support the foundations of the program.
