Instructions about payment, as applicable, will be sent to you via an electronic invoice within a few days. The conference registration fee is $995. An "early bird" conference fee of $795 is available to those registering by April 18, and paying by April 30. Special pricing is available for members of the Wharton Center for Human Resources, the McNulty Leadership Program at Wharton, and for Wharton Alumni. This year we will be waiving the fees associated with CEUs , but we still request that you register for them online in advance to ease the registration process onsite. Please only register for CEUs if you actually need them and you intend to complete all of the required paperwork to satisfy the CEU requirements. Overview of Schedule The Symposium starts on Thursday at 9am with the four pre - conference workshops : 1 onsite workshop and 3 offsite workshops: • The 1 onsite workshop "Current Research on Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare , " as well as the lunch keynote by Dr. Gary Burlingame , are both free f or all Symposium participants. More details regarding these onsite offerings can be found in our conference brochure which you may download online. • If you plan on attending these onsite events please RSVP by selecting these online on the registration page (it is ok to go back and add this to your registration at this time). RSVP is required to attend these events so please be sure to register online. • The onsite workshop will take place in Kokepelli Parlor 2 of the Grand Summit hotel. Please follow signs or ask front desk for directions to the meeting room. • The 3 offsite workshops are sold separately and not included in th e General Admission tuition of your Symposium registration. There is still space available to register for an offsite workshop. If you registered for an offsite workshop you will receive a separate email with details regarding meeting times and locations . Following the preconference workshop the Symposium will continue at 4pm with R egistration and the Networking Reception until 6pm . • Registration and the Networking reception will both take place in the Summer Events Pavilion located outside behind the Grand Summit Hotel • It is still possible to reserve a booth online for the Networking Reception on our registration website . Reserving a booth at the reception is the best way to share information about your organization with other participants of the Symposium. • Th ursday Dinner and Keynote • Dinner on Thursday will start at 6pm in the Grand Ballroom and will be provided this year curtesy of our Symposium Sponsors . • At 7pm we wil l be presenting the Eagle Award for outstanding contribution to the field of wilderness therapy as well as making s ome other opening announcements • We will then present the keynote presentation at 7 :30 pm with Dr. Kevin McCauley , " Addiction and the Neurobiology of Free Will . " More information about the keynote lecture can be found in the downloadable Symposium brochure. Friday Workshops Workshops will resume on Friday morning at 9am and run until 5:30pm. There will be a 2 - hour break for lunch from 12pm - 2pm, and lunch will n ot be provided on Friday or Saturday. There are restaurants and a general store on the hotel property if you wish to purchase your breakfast or lunch onsite and plenty of restaurants nearby in Park City. Tracks : This year we have added a "Track" label to all of our workshops as self - selected by the presenters. Examples of possible tracks include "field staff" or "clinical." The track labels are only meant as an aid to help you in select ing a workshop that might best suit your needs and interests and you are still free to pick and choose your workshop choices as you go along with your day. Tracks for each workshop are listed on the schedule spreadsheet page of the brochure and will also be listed in the onsite printed Symposium program. Friday evening Reception Our Friday evening dinner and reception will take place this year at the base of the mountain in Canyon's Resort Village. T his reception and dinner are free for all participants curtesy of our Symposium Sponsors and we highly encourage everyone to attend. Following dinner we will once again have our "Jumping Mouse" ceremony for outstanding field guides, as well as a TBA event which may include live music and dancing. Saturday Workshops We will be offering both onsite and offsite workshops on Saturday. • The onsite workshops will happen from 9am - 4pm and take place in the hotel meeting rooms like the Friday workshops. This year we will be offering 1.5 hour, 3 hour and 6 hour workshops onsite to accommodate different travel schedules for that day. • The offsite workshops will meet as early as 8 :30 am (exact workshop times posted onsite) and will take place on either the s lopes of the resort mountain at Canyon's (via the Gondola ride) or in nearby wilderness areas. At 4pm we will have a short final closing ceremony in the main Ballroom to end the Symposium.
