At the start of a new year, it's always good to get ourselves cleansed and made new...on a spiritual level.
Yes, God has much in store for us in this new season...including promotions. Let's allow Him to deal with any issues of the heart that need to be change...it's so worth it! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
The Lord is great at starting new things. He is great in birthing you into new beginnings. It doesn't matter how bad or horrible your last season was, He is great at starting afresh with you!
He is the author and the perfecter of our faith. "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..." (Hebrews 12:2). The Lord is the author of your life. He has many destiny scrolls that were written out for you, even before time began. The Lord is good at refreshing you and even hitting the delete button. You can delete the past and let it go. You can cut and prune off the excess and step into new dimensions of greater glory.
"The Lord is enlarging your vision and He is anointing you to see as He sees!" |
God is not done with you yet! He is not finished with you yet. If you are still alive then that means the healing power of the Holy Spirit can still do His work within you. He is the Potter and we are the clay.
Let the Lord write a new beginning for you. As the Lord Jesus came in between the adulteress woman and the Pharisees and teachers of the law, and began writing in the ground, He is also writing off your debts and writing for you a new beginning!
"Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground." (John 8:8)
New Hearts
The Lord took me up in a vision at the start of Hanukkah. He showed me people receiving new hearts to become positioned into a new guard.
"I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances." (Ezekiel 36:25-27)
I believe we are in an hour where the Lord is wanting to cleanse us from all the filth of yesterday. He is wanting to touch us and make us new. He is giving us His heart of love, grace, mercy, compassion, and kindness so that we can be ready for the new. The Lord is giving to His people a new heart in Jesus' name.
Our hearts of love and purity, as well as our hearts of humility and meekness are what will cause us to grow in character, which establishes the grounds of greater promotion.
A Changing of the Guard
A change of heart is what is changing your guard. What this means is that He is changing your position. He is upgrading your role in the Kingdom. He is promoting you from being faithful over the few to over the many. He is promoting you from being faithful over the talents to now becoming ruler over many cities. Because you have been found faithful to deal with the personal issues of your heart, He is now changing your guard and your position in the Kingdom of God.
Guard Mounting
A changing of the guard is an actual formal ceremony in which sentries are relieved of their duties by a new batch of guards. This is usually done with great honor and with a ceremony of symbolic actions and movements, like a passing of the baton.
There is a new batch of glory that is coming, therefore the Lord is raising up a new breed of people in this hour. "Because you have changed your heart, there is now a changing of the guard," says the Lord. (Photo via Pixabay)
New Positions
Because you've turned your heart and you've changed your attitude, the Lord is about to bless and promote you and bring you up into a new platitude. There is a new plain and a new playing field that the Lord is bringing you up into.
A changing of the guard stands for a new position. Everybody knows that... (continue reading)
