God wants YOU to leave the past behind...and that includes all the wounds, disappointments and losses. This is often hard to do as the enemy wants to hold you captive in past traumas.
But God...is removing your past and moving you ahead. Just read this word of the Lord:

Passing Through the "Eye of the Needle Gate"
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God...Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" (Mt. 19:24, 26 NIV)
In these Scriptures Jesus is speaking about the way to Heaven – or salvation – by way of a freeing up and removing of possessions. You cannot buy salvation or go into Heaven while holding onto something. It has been said that there was a gate entering into Jerusalem called "Eye of the Needle Gate." Whenever this gate was used to walk camels through, it was so narrow that a person had to remove all the bags and luggage off the camels in order for them to pass through the gate.
This morning as I was reading through some things, my eyes landed on something the Lord gave me. As I read it, I felt the wind of Holy Spirit blow over me and the Lord said, "This is for NOW!"
The Lord said, "Your mode of transportation in this past season is not going to be your mode of transportation for this season. There are supernatural provisions coming and payments to eliminate debts that have been holding you back! I am paving the way for you to walk forward in MY favor! You will NOT be walking through these doors weighed down by your past journeys!"
His Fire is Your Fuel!
As I was praying, I went into an open vision:
I was standing in a hallway. This hallway had multiple doors on both sides of me, but all were closed. I was then, suddenly, at the end of the hall standing in front of a very large, open door. As I looked I saw that this open door was actually a double door with both sides swung wide open for me to walk through. As I began to step forward over the threshold, I found myself stuck. I looked down to see a large chain wrapped around my feet. As my eyes followed the chain, I saw it stretched down the hall, past the side doors to a door at the other end. This door was very small and it was closed, and the large chain was anchored to it.
I began to cry out to the Lord, asking Him how it was possible for me to step through the open door if I was still chained to this door of the past. His voice boomed loudly, "Trust Me. You will see this break!" As I was looking at this chain, waiting to see it break, all the doors along the sides began to open. As they opened, I saw people step to the threshold. They stood there looking at the chain then looking at me. I shrugged my shoulders in a way that indicated I didn't know how to move the chain, but then I spoke to them in excitement, "Just watch!"
Then, suddenly, like a bomb exploding, the chain blew apart and off the door! However, the door was unaffected and remained closed. The remaining part of the chain caught fire. As the flames wrapped around these massive, metal links, they dissolved. As it moved up the chain and down the hallway, the flames came to the feet of those watching. Their faces of fear turned to expressions of awe and wonder. I watched this transformation happen then waited for the flames to reach me. As the flames burned off the chain from my feet, I became engulfed in them but they didn't burn me. I immediately felt a joy overwhelm me. As I began to jump up and down in praise over this chain being removed, I felt a thrust forward, pushing me through those open doors.
A Double Portion Season
The Lord is saying right now, "Whatever it has been that has kept you chained to your past, My fire is removing it, My provision is removing it, My reconciliation is removing it, My forgiveness is removing it! All those that closed the doors on you in the past will be opening them to watch what happens to you next. They will taste and see that I AM GOOD! They will feel the fires of My love for them coming through you!
"You have withstood the isolation of this hallway season; you have thanked and praised Me for it, you have sought Me to learn all you needed to learn. Because of this, because of your faith, I am moving you into a double portion season, a double portion manifestation and a double portion of acceleration. My fire within you is now the fuel to your launch. Get ready, IT IS NOW!"
"This is what the Lord says: 'Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be destroyed and pass away. Although I have afflicted you, Judah, I will afflict you no more. Now I will break their yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away.'" (Nahum 1:12-13 NIV)
As I read this Scripture, I heard, "Although it feels like all have come against you, it will go away. You will no longer be bound to consequences from the past, you will be freed from it all."
The Lord is speaking very loudly and plainly to you right now! He is desperate for you to trust and see ALL He desires to do through you and for you. Take this word to Him, and ask Him to show you what He wants you to see right now! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)
