Dream: The Door
On March 26, 2020, I had a dream with the name of Jesus being "The Door" – this was being highlighted to me on an exam for the purpose of promotion. On this exam, there were multiple-choice questions for choosing who Jesus was in this season: The Alpha and The Omega, The Great Shepherd, or The Door. I woke up out of this dream hearing myself repeat the correct answer for this exam by verbally declaring the name of Jesus as "The Door!"
"Then Jesus said to them again, 'Most assuredly, I say to you... I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved..." (John 10:7, 9 emphasis mine)
"For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." (1 Corinthians 16:9 emphasis mine)
The Greek word for "door" in context to the above Scriptures, is defined as "a passageway, an entrance, a portal; 'an open door' is used of the opportunity of doing something." When Jesus announced Himself as "The Door" for people to pass through, I believe He was referring to a new Kingdom dynamic of light overcoming darkness through the saving grace of God.
As a result of walking through "The Door," a new day dawned for Believers that was filled with resurrection power and it opened the door for a personal, great awakening! Those in proximity to Jesus recognized Him as the Great Shepherd who gave entrance to new life for those who chose His ways and not their own (Matthew 7:13).
A new door is indeed opening. I believe this dream pertains to the Body of Christ as a whole. We are stepping over the threshold of the month of May and are now approaching Pentecost after having been through the most intense Passover season I can ever remember.
The Day of Pentecost marks an event where the Holy Ghost baptized the New Testament Church into a new era – an era of walking and functioning in His power (Acts 2:1-4). When the power of the Spirit of the Lord shook the door-posts of the Upper Room, everything shifted to comply with His will! Nothing stayed the same in "the house of the Lord" after a Holy Spirit invasion rocked all those in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost – 50 days after Passover. (Photo via Wallpaper Flare)
In the natural, and in the second heaven, there's a tremendous amount of turbulence disrupting the earth. This turbulence is manifesting in the news media (voices) and the nations. It is manifesting through violent weather patterns and the war between light and darkness (Heaven's army and the dragon), all for the purpose of the shaking and cleansing of God's House.
