Journal of the SAIMM, April 2016

Dear SAIMM members and subscribers,   The Journal of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy is to be distributed electronically in addition to the printed version.  Our first trial of this is with the attached electronic (PDF) copy of the full April 2016 issue of the Journal.   Assuming this test goes well, the May 2016 issue will follow soon thereafter.   The e-mailed PDF document is highly compressed, in order to make it as small as possible for sending by e-mail.  A slightly larger higher-quality version is also available for downloading from the SAIMM website, where full copies of the Journal will be available for downloading at any time using the link below.   http://www.saimm.co.za/FullJournal/   For people who like a page-turning electronic copy to read on their tablets, there is a service available at http://www.issuu.com/saimm at no cost.   We look forward to receiving your feedback on this initiative, and we will conduct a brief survey after a three-month trial period.
