Cindy Jacobs, Red Oak, TX  Facing the Giants The Lord says, "In this new season of crossing over, there's going to be warfare." Just like when they (the Israelites) crossed over the Jordan and had to take the city of Jericho and face the giants, so you are facing some giants. These giants aren't pleasant – we don't like to face giants – but know this, you are conquering your territory. You are going to a new place. It's not like you're doing warfare for warfare's sake. It's not like you're standing still. You are making progress, so don't get sad or depressed. Don't think that what is happening to you is something that is just a natural thing. No, you are fighting a supernatural battle. So what you can do is maintain your joy. Understand that this is the year of joyful increase, and whatever the devil has done, God is going to turn it for good. So start thanking the Lord about your situation. My car recently got hit in a hit-and-run, so I had to choose to thank God that He is going to somehow work good through that. The things that satan meant for evil, God works for good. I know that's true. What Is Your Territory? So I want to say to you: What is your territory? Know that you're going towards your destiny; you're going through a promised land. Many times those promised lands are manifested through a dream that God will give you, or a passion, or something you should be doing. Sometimes God wants you to take care of something that vexes you. I always say: What vexes you? What irritates you? What causes you to say, "Why doesn't somebody change that?" If you've said that, you are part of the change, or else you wouldn't notice it. Other people don't notice those things, but you notice those things. There are things that make you sad, things that make you say, "Why doesn't somebody stop human trafficking? Why doesn't somebody bring justice to our judicial system or prison system? Why doesn't somebody help the people at the border?" You are called to do these things. So get up! Shake off the disappointments; shake off the things the enemy is trying to do. Don't stay back in the former times of your life. Know you are a conqueror; you're going to defeat every giant that is coming against your dream. You're going to take the territory, you're going to buy the building, you're going to be able to go to school, you're going to be able to pay your bills, you're going to be able to pay your debts and pay off your house. Your children are going to be able to go to school. Just set your face like flint. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, and understand that giants must fall. Cindy Jacobs
