There are two Scriptures that have always stuck out to me as I think about spiritual warfare:
"Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage." (Ephesians 6:12 TPT)
"...In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
These verses point to the truth that we are in a battle, but through Christ we are not defeated. If you are a Believer and are walking with the Lord, the darkness of this world does not like the light you carry.
