2018 will be a year of breakout! As I was praying and thinking on this word, the Lord said that things would magnify and amplify in this New Year! There will be a sudden, drastic shift of new direction and purpose with clarity. The Lord will bring a sudden interruption and disruption to regularity. What you called "the same" will no longer be recognized as the way it use to be. The old patterns and thinking will give way to new strategic ideas and strategies.
When the Holy Spirit spoke to me about breakout, He said this would be the supernatural sound that enables you make an escape from any prison or confinement and restriction. God will only give us the spirit of breakthrough so we can posses and enter in. "And He brought us out from thence, that He MIGHT BRING US IN, to give us the land which He swore unto our fathers" (Deuteronomy 6:23). The shift is upon us and we will spring forth into the land.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert" (Isaiah 43:19). God is about to spring you forward in a time of acceleration.
SUDDENLY...
Suddenly, a dream will come to pass. Suddenly, a promise is fulfilled. Suddenly, the negative turns around. You need to get ready for the surpassing greatness of God's favor in this season of breakout! He has unexpected blessings where you suddenly meet the divine connection, or suddenly your health improves, or suddenly you're able to pay off your debts. God is shifting things in your favor for divine opportunities. Shift is coming! Whatever level you are at now, God is about to send a "Wind of Change." The shift (winds) will take you where you could not have gone and put you in a position you never could have reached on your own. He will give you what you weren't in line to receive before. This is your time to advance. God is setting before us new doors of opportunity to step through "because a great door for effective work has opened to me" (see 1 Corinthians 16:9). Effective means: able to accomplish a purpose; functioning effectively, to achieve a striking result.
Breakthrough to Breakout! "He who opens the breach goes up before them; they break through and pass the gate, going out by it. Their king passes on before them, the Lord at their head." (Micah 2:13)
God is opening a way where the opposition before you cannot stand. He will make a gap in and break through (a wall, barrier, or defense) so you can enter into the land. God is the God of the breakthrough. My favorite definitions for breakthrough are: "an offensive thrust that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line in warfare" and "the act or instance of breaking through an obstacle."
"And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there. And he said, 'The Lord has burst (BROKE OUT) through my enemies before me like a bursting flood.' Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim" (2 Samuel 5:20). The meaning of this verse where David overcomes all of the giants is "Possessor of Breaches"—Lord of the
Breakthrough. Baal-perazim means Lord (Master) of breaking through. When He breaks through, you will break out!
Breakthrough is God waiting on us to respond in obedience to what He has already commanded and promised. Breakthrough happens when we take the first offensive step against the barriers in our life. Breakthrough happens when we say, "I'm going to trust that God is going to supernaturally do the impossible."
Praise is Key!
The power of God in praise is the key to breaking out of the darkness and chains. God's power will manifest breakthrough to obliterate all yolks by the anointing (see Isaiah 10:27).
"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose." (Acts 16:25-26)
Praise is faith expressing itself audibly. Faith has a voice. Faith calls those things that are not as though they were and those things that be as though they were not. Faith hears God say that it's done, sees God make it done, and shouts because it believes it's done. Paul and Silas' prayer and praise caused tremors in the realms of darkness. Suddenly, a violent earthquake shook the building and the doors were opened.
Our barrenness and emptiness will produce in a new way when we sing in the midst of our opposition. "Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married, says the Lord" (Isaiah 54:1).
Think Bigger
Your new attitude should be: "God, I'm ready. I'm taking the limits off of You. I'm enlarging my vision. I may not see a way, but I know You have made a way where there is no way. I declare I'm coming into a shift and moving with the winds." Let the revelation of His victory permeate your faith and cause you to operate from a winning stance. We need to dream and think bigger. What held you down and oppressed you will no longer stand before you!
"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." (Ephesians 3:20)
Remember the power of binding and loosing through a prophetic decree. A prophetic decree is an authoritative "now" word that unlocks the supernatural and causes a shift to take place. When we decree something, we are making a declaration that has the weight of Kingdom authority behind it.
