Dear Johannesburg Branch members
On behalf of the Johannesburg Branch Committee and the Institute as a whole, we trust that you and your families are safe in these strange and trying times.
We would like to initially apologise for both the lack of meetings and communication over the last two months, the former is a reality of our current situation, and likely to continue for the foreseeable future, whilst the latter we can and are in the process of addressing.
Many of you will be aware that the SAIMM has moved over onto a platform of webinars for its technical meetings over the last two months, and the Johannesburg Branch Committee is investigating options for the future of Branch meetings and technical presentations, which are unlikely to involve any refreshments in the foreseeable future, but we are keen to reinvigorate our busy and successful technical programme.
As soon as we have a plan in place and tested it, we will communicate further and look forward to hosting and meeting up with you all again in some form in the near future.
